Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Why every time we get a new Friday movie do they have to explain what happened to Jason? I mean, for the love of god. We know what happened to Jason by now. This is the 8th film.

Jason just get's the 'ole lightning treatment again.

What kid just carries around with a prop knife?

At least it gets right into what everyone wanted, the killings.

The beginning of the movie with the first two kids on the boat (Suzi and Jim) is probably one of the worst acted scenes in the franchise.

Why is Rennie's teacher dropping her off like her mother and shit?

So high school graduates take a boat ride to Manhattan and get massacred by Jason in the mean time.

So this Charles guy is Rennie's legal guardian, but Colleen (her teacher) takes her on the trip without the permission of Charles. Who I'm guessing is the principle?

Continuity is really not this series strong suit. I never get why people say water is Jason's weakness, but I mean, damn.. he's a fucking fish in this one. Just swimming from boat to boat. Tagging along just to get his seasonal massacre over with.

"Uncle Charles" so he's Rennie's uncle. Gotcha.

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Teenagers with nice hair

I thought the mask got split in half in the last one? So how does Jason have the same mask with the axe cut in the top right? Or do they just make all hockey mask like that now?

What kind of kids are these? Got some chick who thinks she a rockstar, and is trying to shoot a damn music video on the boat. She's got a good death though. Jason sticks that guitar right through her face.

"Facing your fear doesn't always concur it."

JJ tries to tell Wayne that Tamara is using him, but it seems she only wants him so he can shoot her "music video". I mean it's just poor dialogue. That was the first scene we saw them in so how do we know that they are good friends?

So she has some kind of psychic powers where she can see flashbacks of Jason as a kid? (Talking about Rennie)

Seems like they are on a damn cruise ship.

Walks right into her and clearly gives her the hard shoulder to knock her off the boat; "it was an accident I swear" lmao. That was damn near attempted murder because she can't even swim. Tamara is truly a bitch.

"He's back and your all gonna die." Trying to be the like the guy from Part One and Two. "You're doomed guy".

Oh lord. Wayne catches Mr. McCollech and Tamara, and him and Tamara blackmail him to give Tamara a passing grade. Tamara quickly shows that JJ was telling the truth that she was using him.

But shortly after, Tamara get's her just deserts with a great (sarcasm) quick cut kill. With people as big as a bitch like her you really wanna see them die.

That slow-mo death of the Captain is cringe worthy.

Who thought this was a good idea to take these kids on a boat ride all the way to New York City?

Sean's dad was murdered and he found him, but he really doesn't even seem phased by it.

I'm more concerned why they aren't even remotely concerned about how this random man who is spouting all this Jason nonsense got on the boat in the first place or what he's doing there?

With all the talk about how they are "kids" and just in highschool then why the fuck is there a bar on the boat?

This man just jumps out of nowhere and doesn't expect to be shot? I mean glasses or no glass, he still woulda got shot.

Apparently dead JJ just makes him forget completely that there is a psychotic killer chasing him.

And there goes Wayne.. you know I kinda like him, but that last scene with him was horrendous.

Can Jason teleport now?

Why you gotta throw the black dude over board? You know they can't swim.

That scene where Jason is choking Rennie looks fake as fuck. She just walks backwards so he can grab her neck, and it doesn't even look like he's choking her at all.

I really don't like these scenes that make it seem like it's Jason but it's really not. I kinda takes away from Jason's scariness. Like when the film gives that tone that Jason is around and about to fuck someone up.. I really want Jason to be there, but this film just makes me kinda thing well it could be Jason idk. But it's more than likely just McCollech just walking up to someone.

Julius has been under water for about 5 minutes now and he's still alive? That nigga must be a fish.

The boat scene did take up must of the movie. I really feel like the movie could just end after they get on the raft honestly. I wouldn't have been mad.. I would have been glad it was over with.

Like them waking up and seeing the statue of liberty would have been a nice ending.

McCollech is such an ass. Sean just saved there life. Paddled there way all the way to fucking New York City and he is mad about where the hell he docks the boat at.

not only that, jason arrives in nyc at the same time as them.. while swimming. he must be an Olympic swimmer, because how the fuck is that possible?

how the fuck did they get that big ass dog down the ladder onto the life boat? i mean, did they just drop the dog off the side of the boat and just hoped it would land?

while drowning and all kinds of shit julius didn't lose his wallet lmao
